Since its beginning Pottery Northwest has been a resource for community classes professional workshops and exhibitions with nationally and internationally recognized artists in the field. It developed out of the Seattle Clay Club 1948-mid-1960s after members decided to form an organization that could promote and educate the local ceramic arts community from a central facility.
